Admissions

Application to the Program:

Complete an online application to the Rehabilitation Counseling Program.

Application to the University:

Complete an online application to the University of Kentucky Graduate School.
Pay Graduate School Application Fee online.

Letters of Reference:

Have three people who are unrelated to the applicant each complete the  Letter of Reference (provided in Word format) Form. These letters should be signed by the person providing the reference, and returned to the applicant in a sealed envelope with the reference's signature across the seal. The applicant should then mail the three letters of reference together in a packet to:

The Program will not accept electronically mailed letters of reference.

Official Transcripts:

We require transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you have attended (University of Kentucky graduates are not required to submit UK transcripts).

• Please send one set of transcripts to the Graduate School Admissions Officer for the Rehabilitation Counseling Program

Admission Requirements:

• An overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 and 3.00 on all graduate work is required of degree-seeking students. Individual programs may have higher requirements.

• Applicants for the campus program are required to engage in a personal interview with the Rehabilitation counseling Program Faculty and students. The interview can be conducted by telephone if the applicant lives more than 75 miles from Lexington.
