Our department offers three distinct program areas: educational, school, and counseling psychology.  The programs in educational psychology provide a background in the applications of psychology to education that lead to positions in academia and research.  The specialist and doctoral programs in counseling and school psychology lead to certification and/or licensure.  The PhD program in Counseling Psychology is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association.  The PhD program in School Psychology is also accredited, on probation, effective December 16, 2012 by APA's Commission on Accreditation.

We have a strong, nationally recognized faculty who are committed to providing you a rewarding educational experience that will promote your professional development in a challenging but supportive and collaborative environment.  As you view our three program areas, you will notice our emphasis on social justice - both faculty and students in our department are passionate about this commitment and is reflected in both our scholarly and clinical work.  We invite you to learn more about our programs by selecting one of the links on the left.
