Welcome to Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology!

Our department offers three distinct program areas: educational, school, and counseling psychology.  The specialist and doctoral programs in counseling and school psychology lead to certification and/or licensure. The PhD programs in Counseling and School Psychology have been accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of the American Psychological Association (202-336-5979, 750 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002-4242, apaaccred@apa.org). The programs in educational psychology provide a background in the applications of psychology to education that lead to positions in academia and research facilities. The counseling psychology and the educational psychology programs were ranked 9th and 10th, respectively, for the productivity of their faculty in 2007. We invite you to learn more about our programs by selecting one of the links on the left.
