Funding Opportunities
Financial aid in the form of scholarships, teaching and research assistantships, and fellowships is widely available at the University of Kentucky. Funding is available from multiple sources including the department, the College of Education, other units on campus, and national and international agencies. Other research and graduate assistantships are available within the University community and are announced as they become available. Full and half-time research and teaching assistantships generally offer tuition fellowships. The links provided below are to assist students with locating and applying for funding.

- Division 17/Section for the Advancement of Women offers a $200 Dissertation and Thesis Award for a proposal of original research by a Counseling Psychology graduate student whose research focuses on issues that pertain to the lives of women and girls. Special consideration will be given to projects that focus on women and girls from marginalized groups because of their race, ethnicity, immigrant status, socioeconomic class, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other factors.
