EDC 642   RESEARCH AND THEORY IN TEACHING LANGUAGE ARTS   (3 hours)
 
A systematic study of research and theory in oral and written language acquisition and the implications of this knowledge for facilitating the development of listening, speaking and writing in classroom settings. The interrelationships among all of the language arts (reading, writing, listening and speaking) will be stressed.
 
Prerequisite(s):   EDC 330, or 553, or 534, or consent of instructor
