EDC 330   DESIGNING A READING AND LANGUAGE ARTS PROGRAM FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL   (3 hours)
 
A study of materials and techniques useful in the diagnostic teaching of reading and other language arts with students in grades 5-8. The course will emphasize materials, techniques, and procedures which diagnose individual strengths and weaknesses, and prescriptive instruction based upon the diagnosis. Lecture, three hours; laboratory, one hour.
 
Prerequisite(s):   EDC 329 or consent of instructor; admission to the Teacher Education Program
