Welcome to Undergraduate Teacher Education Programs in EDC!

The program chairs for several of the undergraduate teacher education programs are faculty in EDC. While considering possible programs, students will contact both the pre-TEP Advisors and the Program Chairs for information about the programs. Many of the programs involve completing a subject major and minor in the College of Arts and Science, while also completing College of Education course work which is required for certification. *The four undergradute secondary education programs do not result in certification, but do prepare the graduate for graduate study in secondary education.

Potential students will want to study several different program guides and to speak with the Pre-TEP Program Advisors before registering for coursework each semester. Once admitted to a particular Teacher Education Program, the student is encouraged to speak with his/her advisor or the Program Chair.
