Xavier Webb
Doctoral Student • Educational Leadership
by Sarah DeVriendt

Xavier Webb believes he is ready to make an impact on the world of education and this doctoral student sees no limits to what he can become.
Webb was raised in a family of educators, and his own enjoyment of learning and helping other people learn guided him to choose educational leadership as his Ed.D emphasis.
“I enjoy the satisfaction of impacting the lives of others and being someone people trust to challenge, mentor and inspire them to become the best at whatever they desire,” Webb said.
For six years Webb taught various high school courses, and he credits this experience as the driving force behind his passion for wanting to be part of solutions that will best serve students, parents, educators and communities.
“My inspiration comes from a strong desire to influence changes that have been voiced by the many students I have taught over the years,” Webb said. “I promised them that I would one day get into a position where I could provide insight and produce changes that we mutually agreed are desperately needed in public education.”
After earning his doctorate, Webb plans to work with educators to influence educational reform initiatives and create an educational system that is conducive to the needs of students and communities living in the 21st century.
