College of Education Program Information and Curricula

Information on each teacher preparation program offered by the College of Education is contained in the curriculum contract, which serves as a check list for the student's major (some files are in PDF format). Information about teacher preparation programs offered by other Colleges at UK can be found at the College's website (see below).

The curriculum contracts in the left-hand column reflect degree requirements under the new general education program, the UK Core. All students who entered UK beginning with the Fall 2011 semester will be required to follow the UK Core. The right-hand column reflects degree requirements under the USP, the previous general education program. Studnts who entered UK prior to Fall 2011 have the option of staying in the USP program, or changing to the UK Core. If you have qustions, call Academic Services at (859) 257-7971.
