Congratulations All 2012 Graduates!

The University of Kentucky 145th Commencement Ceremonies will be held May 6, 2012 at Rupp Arena.

The Graduate and Professional Commencement Ceremony

will be held in Rupp Arena at 9 a.m.  There will be a reception for Graduate students and your family in the Heritage Ballroom starting at 11:00a.m.-12:30p.m..

The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies

will be held in Rupp Arena at 1:00p.m. There will be a joint reception for undergraduates and your families from 3:00p.m.-5:00p.m. in the Bluegrass Ballroom.  We hope to see you there.for farewells and pictures with friends and faculty.

If you are planning to attend the Commencement Ceremony, please complete the online registration form. This will allow us to have degree cards prepared for you. The Application to Graduate form does not serve as your reservation for the Commencement Ceremony. You must reserve your spot using one of the links below.

University of Kentucky Regalia Information

Purchasing Regalia

Below is a list of regalia items and their prices. You may purchase your regalia at the UK Bookstore, located in the Student Center. Regalia will be available for purchase beginning February 28th at the Grad Salute, hosted by the UK Alumni Association. After Grad Salute, regalia can be purchased through the bookstore anytime during regular business hours.

Additional products, such as honor cords and stoles, are available for purchase in the bookstore and at Grad Salute.

PhD Doctoral Candidates - UK Custom Gown

PhD candidates wanting to purchase regalia must do so by March 7th in order to insure delivery by commencement.
After March 7th, a rush order fee may be applied. After March 21st, purchase gowns will not be available by commencement and a rental gown will be provided for the ceremony. Please contact the bookstore with additional questions.

All PhD candidates must come to the bookstore for their regalia.
