Office of the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation

 

The Associate Dean for Research and Innovation is responsible for transforming the culture of the college in the area of research and innovation, technology development and usage in the college, by stimulating cutting-edge, transformative research and by facilitating its translation into practice. The Office facilitates students, faculty, staff, and alumni working together to address significant education and health-related issues in the Commonwealth and nationally.  The Associate Dean leads the college’s efforts to provide, evaluate, and improve professional development services that are designed to meet the needs of P-12 schools, higher education and health related organizations. This office promotes undergraduate and graduate students engaged research projects and works with the faculty and Office of Development to secure funding for student research and engagement projects in the student’s home communities as well as UK and Central Kentucky communities.
